Keeper Security’s Risk Management Dashboard delivers a streamlined view within the Keeper Admin Console to quickly and easily give administrators visibility into their organization’s Keeper configuration
The Keeper Security team is thrilled to announce an updated User Interface (UI) for the Admin Console that drastically improves the user experience to save admins time and enhance productivity.
The UI has a modern design that cohesively follows the much-applauded enhancements to Keeper’s end-user vault, released in 2023.
The new Admin Console also provides an embedded onboarding experience that streamlines and facilitates new user adoption and proactively spotlights beneficial features.
The UI changes are a result of Voice of the Customer (VoC) feedback and testing to identify the best possible solution for usability and security. By interacting directly with our users and admins, we can ensure that updates to Keeper’s solutions are guided by your wants and needs. To provide VoC feedback, join our beta program.
To view the new UI, existing Keeper Admins can visit their dashboard and navigate to the Admin tab.
Security Visibility – Simplified
The new UI improves visibility through more efficient use of screen space. For example, the node selector has been modified to provide additional space for activity-level metrics.
The update streamlines information for admins by providing at-a-glance visibility into a range of metrics related to user behavior and usage.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), roles and teams are highlighted directly on user tabs. There is also a new button that enables admins to copy the email address of the user being viewed, allowing the admin to quickly reach out to users in case of any concerns. This change was driven directly from customer feedback and a desire to reduce wasted clicks and eliminate confusion.
On the roles tab, the “Enforcement Policies” button is clear and more prominently displayed, alongside additional visual space for the “Users, Teams and Administrative Permissions” sections. Within the “Enforcement Policies” menu, admins will find the ability to enforce 2FA policies, limit platform usage, define allowed record types and set granular sharing policies.
We’ve also streamlined the ”Add User” tab by displaying both the user’s name and email address, allowing admins to more easily search for users.
Streamlined Onboarding for New Admins
New Keeper Admins will find an overhauled approach to onboarding. A “Quick Start Checklist” walks new users through the admin console environment. The admin onboarding process has been redesigned for a more user-friendly workflow, improving critical tasks such as creating an admin account, inviting new users and setting role policies.
Modern Approach for Strengthened Security
Keeper believes the most secure organizations not only have great tools, but also pervasive adoption. By enhancing the onboarding and administrative processes in the Keeper Admin Console and driving increased visibility, it’s never been easier to be a Keeper Admin.
