Darren Guccione is an entrepreneur, technologist, business leader, as well as the CEO and co-founder of Keeper Security, the leading provider of zero-trust and zero-knowledge cybersecurity software used globally by millions of people and thousands of businesses. He has been a visionary in the technology industry for decades. Prior to co-founding Keeper, Guccione served as an advisor to NinthDecimal, the leading media and technology service provider for the Wi-Fi industry. Before that, Guccione was the CFO and co-founder of Apollo Solutions, Inc., which was acquired by CNET Networks.
Guccione is an Evans Scholar and received the Distinguished Alumnus Award presented by the University of Illinois Department of Industrial & Enterprise Systems Engineering. He is an engineer and CPA with a Masters of Science in Accountancy with Distinction from the Kellstadt School of Business at DePaul University and holds a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
He is actively involved in fostering a culture of innovation in his field, having served as a community board member of the Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center, which fosters the development of early-stage companies, and an advisor to TechStars, a Chicago-based technology incubator for innovative startups. Guccione also served on the Committee of Technology Infrastructure under Chicago Mayor Richard Daley, and served Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel as a technology advisor to evangelize Chicago’s technology ecosystem.
Guccione was named the 2022 Editor's Choice CEO of the Year and 2020 Publisher's Choice Executive of the Year by Cyber Defense Magazine's InfoSec Awards, as well as Cutting Edge CEO of the Year in 2019. He is regularly featured as a subject matter expert for local, trade, and national news publications and programs sharing insight on cybersecurity incidents and topics. He serves on panels and provides keynote speeches for technology and cybersecurity events around the world.
CTO & Co-Founder
Craig Lurey is an entrepreneur and business leader with decades of experience developing technology solutions across multiple sectors. Lurey is the CTO and co-founder of Keeper Security, the leading provider of zero-trust and zero-knowledge cybersecurity software used globally by millions of people and thousands of businesses. Lurey leads the company’s California-based software development and technology infrastructure team, responsible for building a line of solutions to meet enterprise, business, public sector, managed service provider and individual needs.
Lurey has spearheaded and developed a series of successful technology ventures over the course of more than 20 years. Before founding Keeper Security, he was the CTO of Callpod, a technology company that creates unique power products and software. In 1998, Craig created a software platform for what would become CNET ChannelOnline, a turnkey sales-cycle automation solution for the computer industry. Craig's company, Apollo Solutions, was acquired by CNET Networks and ChannelOnline now manages the e-commerce and daily operations of thousands of computer resellers.
Lurey began his career as a software engineer at Motorola, creating firmware for cellular base stations. He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Iowa State University. Lurey was named Most Innovative CTO of the Year in 2020 and Editor’s Choice CTO of the Year by Cyber Defense Magazine’s Global InfoSec Awards. Lurey is regularly featured as a subject matter expert for news publications and programs worldwide, sharing his expertise and insight on information technology.
