On January 16, 2025, an Executive Order 14144 was issued, aimed at strengthening the nation's cybersecurity defenses. This order comes at a crucial time – during
At its core, Keeper Security has always been about making people’s lives easier and protecting them while they connect to the information, resources, and data they need. Today we take one big step to advance this vision.
Initially, we focused on password security use cases, allowing users to securely store their passwords and easily sign into websites. Eventually, Keeper expanded its capabilities to enable our users to sign into apps, as well as securely store payment card and identity information. With the recent launch of Record Types, Keeper users can now securely store virtually any type of structured data that needs to be protected and easily access it whenever they need it.
We recently announced Secrets Manager, which extends our platform from protecting human secrets to protecting machine secrets. Secrets Manager enables developers and engineers to easily and safely connect their dev and build systems to needed resources. In addition to enhancing security for service accounts, Secrets Manager allows zero-trust and zero-knowledge to co-exist in a purely cloud-based deployment.
As we continue advancing our vision, our next step is to connect people with the resources they need in the simplest and most secure way possible. On this note, we are pleased to announce our acquisition of Glyptodon. Read the press release here.
Glyptodon is the company that originally developed Apache Guacamole, the open source platform used by tens of millions of people for accessing remote servers and desktops. Glyptodon Enterprise is a remote access gateway that provides DevOps and IT teams with highly secure but effortless access to RDP, SSH, VNC, and Kubernetes endpoints through any web browser – without the hassle and expense of a VPN.
Keeper is launching Glyptodon with an integration to Keeper Secrets Manager, which will allow credentials to be pulled dynamically from the Keeper vault when connecting to systems. Documentation is available here.

This addition to the Keeper portfolio allows us to offer customers a very powerful Privileged Access Management (PAM) solution that has all the important features IT most cares about, coupled with the most advanced security in the market, and the best end-user experience.
Keeper’s integration of Glyptodon and Keeper Secrets Manager is only the beginning. We are continuing to work to seamlessly integrate Glyptodon with the rest of Keeper’s platform, leverage this best-in-class remote access technology to connect our customers with what they need, and make our users’ day-to-day lives easier while helping them prevent falling victim to cybercrime. We will formally launch Glyptodon as a Keeper product in the coming weeks. In the meantime, you can learn more about Glyptodon at glyp.to.
