Passkey Support Now Available Across KeeperFill and Mobile Keeper Security is excited to announce that we now support passkeys on Android and iOS mobile apps. This
Try Keeper’s passphrase generator for a secure and user-friendly alternative to traditional passwords
Passphrases are quickly emerging as a user-friendly alternative to traditional passwords. Earlier this year, Keeper integrated a passphrase generator into our web vault. Now, our users can take advantage of this ultra-secure, convenient functionality on our Android mobile app and KeeperFill Browser Extension, with iOS coming soon. Like Keeper’s password generator, you can generate a passphrase within your vault or record screen with a simple click of the dice. Passphrases can be customized by setting the length, including capital letters and numbers, and choosing from various symbols to separate each word. Keeper administrators can enforce or disable the passphrase generator within their organizations.
Enhancements to autofill workflow following iOS 18 update
With the release of iOS 18, you can autofill your login credentials faster than ever! Simply long-tap on any field in an app or website and Keeper will seamlessly fill any record information, such as usernames, passwords and even TOTP codes. When you long-tap on a field, a menu appears, allowing you to authenticate to Keeper and select the record data you’d like to fill.
After logging in with your username and password, if a two-factor code is required, Keeper will automatically fill the code within the same workflow, eliminating the need to switch between apps to retrieve codes or copy and paste – significantly reducing friction during the login process.
Keeper’s new landscape mode lets you choose your browser extension viewing experience
Our latest update to KeeperFill allows you to customize your viewing experience with the option to expand the extension window via “landscape mode.” KeeperFill’s beautifully designed, dual-pane window allows you to view your record details and records list at the same time – providing seamless access to what you need most. Quickly flip between “landscape” and “portrait” mode with a single click of a button on your extension toolbar.
Introducing UI and security improvements for KeeperFill
Keeper’s latest update to our browser extension, KeeperFill, introduces a highly secure extension tab. When creating a record from any on-site UI, a new tab will open where record information can be entered with increased security. Any content entered will be conveniently autofilled in the extension tab’s record form and saved to your vault.
You also may have noticed some major UI improvements to our browser extension, including a more accessible records list, now appearing directly on the KeeperFill home screen, as well as the addition of an “Add Record” button when no suggested records are found. Quick-adding a record will auto-generate the “Title” and “URL” based on the website you are on. We’ve also given users the ability to entirely disable form field icons without having to disable autofill and auto-submit functionality.
Keeper’s Security Audit screen receives UI refresh
Keeper’s Security Audit feature has been a longstanding, critical tool within the console interface, providing admins with insight into the password strength and reuse taking place within their organization. In the latest console release, we have taken the Security Audit screen up a notch with a refreshed, modern look and feel, providing admins with clearer, more distinct visual indicators and metrics.
At first glance, a strength meter will indicate overall password strength, along with a breakdown of password scores that are visually defined with the use of color into four distinct categories: weak, fair, medium and strong. Below the main card, you can quickly identify your reused password count, two-factor usage and individual user security scores, including brand-new filters. And finally, admins can now reset security scores for the entire enterprise or specific users to sync data between the console and vault.
Keeper completes authorization meeting FedRAMP® Revision 5 Controls
Keeper has successfully completed the transition to Revision 5 Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP®) security controls baseline. To receive FedRAMP Rev 5 Authorization, organizations must implement controls from 18 different control families that originate from the National Institute of Standards and Technology Special Publication 800-53. This alone can take organizations months or years, depending on the complexity of the system.

Store and retrieve secrets from Linux and Windows utilities with Keeper Secrets Manager integration

These utilities can be used with any integration, plugin, or code base to store and retrieve credentials, secrets, and passwords in any Linux or Windows utility, simply and natively.
