Keeper Secures Growth Funding to Accelerate Product Innovation

Today, we are excited to share the news that we just closed a $60 million, minority investment by global private equity and venture capital firm Insight Partners. This is Keeper’s first outside equity raise since the company’s inception. We are also welcoming Thomas Krane, Principal at Insight Partners, to our Board of Directors.

As the Co-founders of Keeper Security, we are thrilled to partner with Insight Partners to not only continue to grow and expand the business, but to address the critical and growing need for essential cybersecurity solutions like ours for years to come.

We are also humbled. After nine years of building the company from the ground up, this growth funding serves as a major validation of our product leadership and provides the accelerator to continue to develop industry-best products to help customers protect themselves, their families and their businesses from cyber threats.

Keeper’s award-winning, enterprise-grade security and encryption architecture, combined with our best-in-class user experience, is trusted by millions of consumers and thousands of businesses in more than 100 countries. It’s been an amazing journey since founding Keeper in 2011, and we’re especially proud of the past couple of years. A few highlights:

• In May, we surpassed one million paid customers worldwide, marking a significant milestone in our company history.
• In the past year, we added 120 team members across our three locations and expanded our global footprint – particularly in Europe and Australia and New Zealand.
• We introduced best-in-class products and features, like BreachWatch, our popular dark web monitoring tool available for businesses and consumers.
• As a testament to our product leadership, we received countless industry awards and recognitions, including PC Magazine’s Best Password Manager of the Year & Editors’ Choice, PCWorld’s Editors’ Choice, four G2 Best Software Awards and the InfoSec Awards for Best Product in Password Management and SMB Cybersecurity, Publisher’s Choice for CEO of the Year, and Most Innovative CTO of the Year.

Even in the past few months, we have seen our cybersecurity products protect organizations as they migrated to distributed, remote work environments.
