This month, we’ve got a number of new features and product updates to share with you, including an entirely new look and powerful performance updates for Keeper on iOS, SDK folder support for Keeper Secrets Manager (KSM) and an exciting partnership with Gradient MSP.
Keeper for iOS Releases Major UI and Performance Update
In addition to an entirely new look and feel for the iOS app, this update delivers extensive performance updates and improved support for large vaults. Keeper for iOS now features the same modern UI users have come to love from our Web and Desktop refresh earlier this year. Additionally, users can expect improved usability, smart searching and faster sync times. Visit the App Store on your device to install the latest version of Keeper Password Manager for iOS.
Passkeys Are Now Live!
Keeper’s Browser Extension–across all of the top web browsers–now supports the seamless creation and storage of passkeys to log in to supported websites. Leading the way to replacing passwords for many of your online accounts, passkeys are cryptographic keys that let you log in to your accounts and apps without having to enter a password or second authentication factor. Be sure to download the latest version of Keeper Desktop and learn more about how to store and manage your passkeys with Keeper here.
Keeper’s collaboration with Gradient MSP allows our MSP customers to review client usage at a glance, with no more surprises at month-end. Instantly sync Keeper consumption to your PSA. Gradient currently supports eight major PSAs, including Connectwise, Datto, Kaseya and more. With Keeper and Gradient, MSPs can identify under-performing service offerings and zero-in on opportunities to increase revenue and profit.
All Keeper Secrets Manager SDKs now support Create, Read, Update, and Delete (CRUD) operations for folders. For more information on how to invoke the supported folder CRUD operations, visit Keeper’s Developer SDK Docs and navigate to the folder section of your desired SDK.
Generate a Password Policy Check Report in Keeper Commander
Keeper Commander can now generate a list of records that have failed your specified password policy. Keeper users can scan all the passwords contained within a vault, compare them to the specified policy and obtain a list of all records that are not policy-compliant.
View Key Events in Keeper Connection Manager Session Recordings
Administrators can now enable key event tracking in Keeper Connection Manager (KCM) session recordings. This allows administrators to view approximations of certain actions based on recorded events, along with convenient, text-based searches to quickly navigate to specific parts of session recordings.
Improved Admin Oversight on LastPass Vault Imports
Keeper’s latest enforcement policy prevents occurrences of duplicate records and enhances administrators’ control over migrating their users’ shared folders. When this policy is enabled, users who transfer their vault from LastPass using Keeper’s Desktop App will be restricted from selecting the shared folders import option.
This month, Keeper released a report that explores global insights from IT and security executives, revealing that while IT leaders consider PAM solutions critical to their security stack, cost constraints and complex solutions are impacting deployment. Survey respondents indicated a strong desire for a smaller-scale and more affordable PAM solution, with 91% of IT leaders saying PAM provides more control over privileged user activity, decreasing the risk of insider and external breaches.
