Passkey Support Now Available Across KeeperFill and Mobile Keeper Security is excited to announce that we now support passkeys on Android and iOS mobile apps. This
This month, we are bringing you a number of new features and product updates, including a reboot of Keeper’s Browser Extension for Safari, as well as a Keeper Secrets Manager (KSM) and AWS Key Management Service (KMS) integration and enhancements to the Keeper Connection Manager (KCM) user interface.
Keeper for Safari: Now Available in the Mac App Store
Keeper’s powerful browser extension, built exclusively for Safari, is now deployed in parallel with KeeperFill for Chrome, Firefox and Edge Browsers. Prior to this release, our Safari extension was bundled with Keeper’s Desktop App; now, “Keeper for Safari” can be downloaded directly from the Mac App Store. By moving to this unified extension architecture, users can expect more frequent updates and improvements.
Easily Integrate Keeper Secrets Manager with AWS Key Management Service
The integration of AWS Key Management Service (KMS) with Keeper has been enhanced. Now, it can securely store and retrieve Keeper configurations from KMS, ensuring Keeper as a trusted source of truth for secrets within your environment. This allows your team to continue using native cloud functions without adjusting any workloads or existing code.
Keeper Connection Manager Enhancements
Starting with Keeper Connection Manager (KCM) is now easier than ever. You can import connections into KCM from a file, with support for XML, CSV and JSON formats. Additionally, a visual notification has been added to the (KCM) User Interface (UI) to indicate when a user joins a shared connection. This indicator remains visible to the original user as long as other users are connected. This UI enhancement offers the original user visibility into all participants and their concurrent connections to the currently shared connection.
Keeper Security Launches APAC Headquarters in Tokyo
We are excited to announce the grand opening of our Asia-Pacific headquarters in Tokyo, Japan. This monumental opening of our sales and marketing operations in the APAC region has been in the works for several years with strong support from the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO). We are thrilled to expand our global reach, serving the cybersecurity needs of organizations across Japan, East Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
Keeper Security and Pax8 Partner to Protect MSPs
KeeperMSP is proud to be the newest security vendor to join Pax8, the leading cloud commerce marketplace. MSPs can now provision, manage and audit all of their customers from the Pax8 Admin Console while still maintaining stringent privacy and security policies for all users.
Various Improvements to the Commander CLI
Keeper Commander is constantly evolving; the latest set of improvements include the following:
- Allow an Admin to perform an import with a –dry-run switch. You can see the records that would be created, skipped or updated without actually modifying the data until you are ready.
- Modify email aliases for users. If you need to adjust a user’s email, or maybe everyone’s email en-masse, Commander now has a –add-alias and a –delete-alias switch in the enterprise-user command.
- Commander now has Passkey support to show the passkey data in records created by browser extension.
