This month, our team has been hard at work to bring you a complete refresh of our vault’s user interface (UI) as well as a number of new features, including an upgrade to our account recovery method and improvements to our password import tool.
Keeper Web Vault Receives a Makeover
You may have noticed that the Keeper Web Vault received an updated look, with new, modern styling for a friendlier and more intuitive experience, but we didn’t stop there. Along with a fresh update to our user interface (UI), we’ve added advanced search capabilities, improved our onboarding experience for new users and added the ability to recover owned shared records that have been removed from your vault.
Introducing Vault Recovery Phrase
Keeper maintains the most security certifications in the industry, and we are committed to continually evolving our security methods in order to protect your data. As a result, we are updating our account recovery system with a new recovery phrase method. A recovery phrase is a simple, auto-generated set of 24 words that can be used to restore access to your Keeper Vault in the event you forget your master password.
Automated LastPass Import Using Single Sign-On (SSO) or Federated Login
LastPass users who are using SSO or a federated authentication platform such as Okta, Azure or Google can now import credentials, secrets and other data directly into Keeper using Keeper’s Desktop Application. Our import tool allows former LastPass users to effortlessly make the switch to Keeper without having to disable SSO in the process.
