The Keeper Security extension for VS Code enables developers to manage secrets from the Keeper Vault without leaving their coding environment. Key capabilities include: replacing hard-coded secrets with keeper:// vault references, injecting secrets into .env-backed run configurations at runtime, and automatic detection of exposed secrets in open files via CodeLens — prompting vault storage directly from the editor. Compatible with VS Code forks including Cursor.
